On April 24-28, 2023, the fourth in a series of international workshops entitled “Selection of manufacturing technology in the area of additive technologies, including finishing treatments”. The workshop was held at Łukasiewicz – Warsaw Institute of Technology. The workshops were attended by employees of the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Warsaw Institute of Technology, students and doctoral students of the Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering of the Warsaw University of Technology, as well as employees of the Cluster of Excellence MERGE at the Chemnitz University of Technology.

During the workshop on the analysis of research on technologies such as 3D printing using the SLS and SLM methods, the evaluation process was shown, taking into account the procedure of stages. They could learn more about the possibilities of post-processing 3D prints, such as shot peeing or electropolishing, as well as printing bone structures made of titanium alloy for testing and testing, giving information about the quality of the print and the properties of the made element.

These were four production workshops as part of the project: “Integrated research and teaching system for the implementation of additive technologies” financed under the Strategic Partnership program by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange.
